Yoga

My Yoga teaching style is empowering and empathetic helping you to grow by neutering body, mind and soul. An electric mix ranging from traditional Hatha to more dynamic Vinyassa flow giving you the ultimate blend of energy, strength, flexibility, balance and healing.
Using many ancient powerful practises including both pranayama, kriya, Kundalini, bandhas and locks. Focusing on both my clients energy as well as precision and alignment, enabling a deep and transformative journey.
Sessions conclude with meditation using enabling to finish your session in a deep state of relaxation.

What is Yoga?

The aim of all yoga is to bring health to the body and mind learning breathing techniques using the postures to relieve ailments and bring the mind into silence, balancing the physical, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual being. Healing ailments and preventing disease by harmonising organs, muscles and nerves that have become unbalanced.

Hatha

The word hatha means wilful or forceful, asanas (yoga postures) are designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. By opening many channels of the body especially the spine so that energy can flow freely
A powerful practise enabling self-transformation drawing our attention inward to our breath, stilling the mind not focusing on the past nor worrying about the future but staying in the present moment and enjoying this space and time.
Being aware of how energy moves throughout the body focusing on blockages that exist allows us to dissolve the inner conflicts that sometimes we are unaware of.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa means "breath-synchronized movement”.
Known in Sanskrit as "Yoga Chikitsa" meaning Yoga therapy, vinyasa aligns and purifies the body with a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling.
Movements are smoothly flowing, following a series of postures designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility.
Sometimes referred to as Vinyasa Flow or just Flow, each class is independently choreographed ensuring we keep the mind focused and body challenged.
